As a freelance technologist I’m now involved with everything from the latest bleeding and cutting edge all the way to the old school technology. Helping businesses and people do more, better, smarter.

At this stage of my life I decided to take a career break, during which I worked on converting a van to a camper in order to travel a little more, I also worked a winter season for The Alpine Club, St Martin de Belleville a boutique mountain chalet company in the three valleys as a Resort Assistant/Chauffeur. Which not only included chauffeuring guests to the village and slopes, but also delivering a bespoke service to every guest to optimise their experience, proactively advising guests on local restaurants, services and activities. Maintaining the vehicles and chalets to a high standard.

On a short term contract, a key member of the Cisco Systems Channel team, engaging, supporting and growing the IT community, both face to face and via webinars in order to ‘spread the word’. Roles include educating partners on products and systems, specifically focused on increasing sales competencies to drive revenues in Cloud, Converged Infrastructure, Storage and Services. Also to help partners with business strategies, especially with my background in cloud and as a service offerings’.

Key member of the Hewlett-Packard Ireland Channel team, engaging, supporting and growing the IT community throughout the isle of Ireland, both face to face and via webinars in order to ‘spread the word’. Initially brought in to train and educate partners on products and systems, specifically focused on increasing sales competencies to drive revenues in Cloud, Converged Infrastructure, Storage and Services. This quickly evolved to help partners with business strategies, especially with my background in cloud and as a service offerings’. Also responsible for the development of HP ExpertOne training & certification competencies for HP Partners.
