Mangstor has launched a faster NVMe over fabrics storage array – the NX6325 – based on an HPE ProLiant DL380 2U server platform.

It builds on the existing NX6320 by adding optimised support for 100Gbit/s network speeds. Customers requiring 40Gbit/s Ethernet or 56Gbit/s InfiniBand can use either the NX6320 or NX6325 storage array platforms, as features and performance are equivalent.

The NX6325 provides:

  • Mellanox ConnectX-4 NICs
  • Multiple InfiniBand and Ethernet ports with interconnect speeds of up to 100Gbit/s
  • Up to 3 million IOPS
  • Sequential read bandwidth of 12GB/sec
  • Sequential write bandwidth of 9GB/sec

Mangstor is a member of the HPE Partner Ready for OEM program.

Its MX-Series NVMe SSDs are now certified on vSphere 6.0. Mangstor says it validated its ESX driver stack on MX6300 2.7TB and 5.4TB capacity models through the VMware I/O Vendor Partner program that enables vendor device drivers to be released independently of VMware product releases.
